QuiltWorks Northwest is
proud to be the #5 dealer in the United States
We've been working hard to be
your favorite Bernina authorized dealer. In July, we were very
proud to receive special recognition and a beautiful plaque from
Bernina of America for the second year in a row. We will continue to offer you all Bernina branded products and services, including
maintenance and servicing of your Bernina sewing system as well as
Machine Mastery classes, Clubs, Artista Embroidery Software and the new
My Label 3D Fashion Pattern Software. Technical service is onsite
and we are able to service other sewing machine
brands. To all of our loyal customers, thank you for helping us
achieve this honor.
Please email any questions
Bernina specific questions to
bernina@quiltworksnw.com
or call the shop to speak with one of our Bernina representatives.

Class Notes
Want to Register for a FREE Class or Demonstration?
One important reminder for those
reserving a space in our FREE classes such as Open Classroom - with Help
with Sandra Casto and Marilyn Nelson: If you
wish to reserve space in a FREE class and you are NOT purchasing other
classes that have an associated cost, you must choose the Phone/Fax

instance, a phone call to the store is not necessary to complete your
order. We look forward to seeing you in our store!
Need to Confirm Your Class
Registration?
Each time you register for class, you AUTOMATICALLY receive an
email confirmation of your order. Please be sure to double-check
that you've typed your email address correctly and that

you do not approve us, your confirmation may end up in the Junk
Mail Folder of your email account.

Hearts &
Hands: Providing Warmth and Comfort for Local Hospitals and Shelters
Update
Posted:
6/26/08
We've been collecting quilts for
Project Linus and they are always appreciated. Whenever you feel you can
spend some time creating a small quilt to donate to Project Linus, keep
us in mind. It is so satisfying to help Project Linus get much
needed warmth and comfort to others in need at local hospitals and
shelters, so please keep those quilts coming and thank you for
your support in helping us help others in need. If you're looking for
opportunities to sew for Linus in the company of friends, our
Open Classrooms are a perfect opportunity for you. For more information about our work with Project Linus, please view our
previous postings. By the way, if you can't stop in the shop, you may purchase a
Linus Kit online to donate to our volunteer sewers.
Other opportunities to help with a gift of warmth for those in need are
available. Click to read about

_________________________ Our Block of the Month -
BUCK-A-BLOCK by THANGLES®
Buck-a-Block series 4 will start at QWNW
in July; it introduces quilters to an easy way to make half-square
triangles of many sizes and to make a great sampler quilt in the
process. At any time during a given month, a block kit will be available
for $1. Participants must show their completed block in order to receive
the next block kit at the special price. For participants who do not
qualify for the special price, blocks are $3. Although this
fun program begins on July 1st, it's never too late to participate.
Previous months are available for just $3 per block while supplies last;
current and future blocks are just $1 as long as you follow the program
rules. Themes for Series 4 are "Blue, Yellow & White" and "Brights."
Participants can select one or both themes to participants. Limit
one of each theme per participant at the special block price of $1.

PRIVATE LESSON?
Anytime a class piques your
interest but you just can’t get away to attend on the scheduled days or
times, please inquire with Chardel or Stacie about private instruction.
Many instructors are happy to teach a class one-on-one or for a special
group of your friends. Have a personal mini-retreat for a special
occasion or just because it's fun - we will be glad to coordinate it
for you.
