A note about
our skill levels
Our teachers
have helped us to attach a skill-needed rating to the each class we
offer. Please consider this rating before signing up for a class. If
your skill level is not what the class requires, it affects both
your, and the other students’, accomplishment and enjoyment of the
class. If you are uncertain about your skill level for a particular
class, our staff will be happy to assist you. Our current levels
are listed below.

Registration,
Cancellation
& Class etiquette
You must
prepay for your class to be registered for it. If QuiltWorks
Northwest must cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment, we
will notify you 5 days prior to the beginning of class and refund
your tuition. If you need to cancel your enrollment in a class,
please do so 10 days before class begins to receive a QuiltWorks
Northwest gift certificate or credit toward a future class. No
refund will be given if you cancel less than 10 days ahead. The
exception to this general policy is classes taught by visiting Guest
Instructors and we are sorry, but no refunds are available unless a
person from the waiting list can take your place.
With exception
of classes geared especially toward teaching children to sew or
quilt, no children or guests are allowed in classes. Also, in
consideration of the instructor and other students in the classroom,
please silence your cell phone during class and leave the room if
you must take a call. There are two Bernina sewing machines
available for your use during classes. If you wish to use a
classroom machine, be sure to indicate that at the time of
registration using the Sewing Machine Option dropdown before adding
the class item to your virtual shopping cart. Show up for class at
least 20 minutes early to check out the machine (you will need to
leave your driver’s license at the front desk) and practice using
it before class begins.
